Dr. Jeremiah Osborne-Gowey, will be joining the HWISE RCN this fall. While his main duties include ongoing data analyses for a new initiative on water insecurity in high-income countries, he will support the RCN in a modified program coordinator capacity. Jeremiah (PhD CU Boulder) is an interdisciplinary environmental and social scientist. He applies mixed methods to explore complex interactions between humans and the rest of the natural world. Jeremiah’s current research is in rural agricultural communities (Sri Lanka and Bangladesh) to explore how social and environmental stressors shape livelihoods, decision-making and adaptation to water scarcity and changing environmental conditions.
